Step 2 Partnership (Inspire Addiction Services are a partner)

Professional help and support for adults aged 18 and over (including offenders referred by PBNI) with substance misuse difficulties/problems.

Support is also available for family members. The service is funded by the Public Health Agency.

All are available in the following languages: English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romany, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian.

Drug Outreach Team; 028 9504 1433 (self-referral)

Low threshold service for those who are chaotic/injecting drug users, and they apply harm reduction techniques, needle exchange service and can refer to be put on a script. (Belfast only)

Community Addiction Team:  02890731602 (referral through GP)

Help with recovering/coming off drugs or alcohol with medical supervision in the community. Can also refer for rehab. Need to be referred by GP to CAT. (Belfast only)

Substitute Prescribing Team; 028 906 33113 (refer through GP/DOT)

Provides support and substitute medication for opiate users to come off drugs. Referral through GP or addiction services only.

Therapeutic support, intervention, group life skills program, training, support for families and rapid response service for those with addictions.

Mentoring and employability service for those leaving care, support for those in custody with addictions, support for women leaving custody, personal development programs for  those aged 16-24, support for young fathers, mentoring and advocacy for those in Hydebank, support for those with self-harm/suicidal ideation issues, support for ex-service members who have been in contact with criminal justice system, support for ex-offenders, life skills and harm reduction programs and therapeutic services for children.

Provides free online workshops to help educate and safeguard those with a gaming/gambling addiction.

Support for those with a gambling addiction including counselling. Advice, blocking software advice, self- help tools and money management.

Support and advice for people with a substance misuse issue to help them with harm reduction techniques.

Support on alcohol and gambling issues. Also, an inhouse 12-week detox program.
